How it works

Wind down, one shape at a time.

No timers, no scores, no rush. Just a palette, a picture and a few quiet minutes before bed.

  1. Open tonight’s picture

    Each night Moonhue picks one picture for you. It’s free for everyone that night, even if it’s normally a Premium one.

  2. Tap a number, fill its shapes

    Pick a color from the palette and tap the shapes with its number. They light up as you go, and the moon at the top fills toward full.

  3. Watch it come alive

    Finish the picture to replay your painting as a time-lapse, then share it or save it to Photos.

Is Moonhue free?

Yes. Every night one picture is free for everyone, along with the free pictures in the library, hints, time-lapse and sharing. Premium unlocks every picture plus the Fill bomb and Magic wand boosters.

Are there ads?

No. Moonhue has no ads, free or Premium, and no tracking.

Do I need an account?

No. There’s no sign-up. Your pictures and progress stay on your iPhone. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone with iOS 15 or later. There’s no Android version and no iPad-optimised version yet.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The pictures come with the app, so you can color without a connection. Buying or restoring Premium needs one.
